Ryan Steeves and Grant Clitsome have garnered a strong reputation in this area for not only being phenomenal athletes but, more importantly, better people. They have cultivated this reputation by demonstrating strong leadership both on and off the ice. I have had the privilege of knowing these two professionals for over 25 years and am honored to call them friends. Both are incredible ambassadors and role models, embodying the values that we at GameDay believe define what this camp is all about.

Nick Carrière is a former Canadian football linebacker in the Canadian Football League. He was drafted in the third round with the 21st overall pick in the 2000 CFL Draft by the Toronto Argonauts. Since we were kids, I could tell that Nick was going to be a professional athlete. The way he competed in all sports, you just knew he was built differently. Nick is one of the friendliest people I have ever met, but when he gets the pads on, watch out! He played CIS Football for the McGill Redmen. After succumbing to a career ending shoulder injury he was introduced to a new sport, and with no surprise, this absolute beast of an athlete made Canada’s World Championship Bobsleigh team. You can’t make this stuff up, he is a perfect example of what it takes to be a pro. Welcome Nick!
